Video Reformatting Form

Please fill out the information as accurately and completely as possible and submit it using the button at the very bottom of this form.

Original Formats

The first section is about the video media you need to have professionally restored. Of course, you may have a mixture of formats, so we've provided multiple data fields which we hope will be enough to cover your particular situation. If you do not know the information you may skip over it, but please remember that the more accurate information we have the more accurate estimation of effort and cost we can provide.

3. Transfer Type

Archival transfer involves bringing the original recording to its best possible playability - usually through a physical treatment process and may involve more laborious customized setup and calibration efforts for tapes that exhibit “unusual” reproduction characteristics- then transferring to new media "as is," without enhancement.

Duplication transfer involves reproduction without physical treatment and a standard setup or calibration for reproduction.

Audiovisual restoration however, involves an additional stage, whereby the signal is processed to remove extraneous noise and improve upon the quality of the original.

Physical Restoration repair or recovery efforts for degradation or damage.
