The CV-2100 was a pre-EIAJ-standard black-and-white recorder using 7" reels and a 7.5-ips tape speed for a 60-minute capacity. CV was originally intended to refer to consumer video, but, when the format was not successful among consumers, the letters were said to stand for commercial video. |
