  ® RCA TR-70
late 1960’s

The TR-70 was an upgrade of the TR-22, the first all-solid-state studio color television 2" videotape recorder. Its stylish design featured the first angle-mounted tape reels. The TR-70 probably was the most successful RCA quad machine. It was able to switch between high-band, low-band, TV line standards and tape speeds.
