Switchable speeds are 15/16, 1 7/8, 3 3/4, 7 1/2, 15 ips and include a Crown VSD5 varispeed module. All _” track configurations: mono full track, two-track stereo, and 1/4-track stereo or four-track are able to be played. From the Crown 800 / 700 brochure: “Crown has long felt the need for a diversified tape recorder product line.” Available by custom order to recording studios and other production facilities in any configuration from mono to four-track.
