  ® International Camera-Corder - 1/4 ; 8mm Camera & Mini-Tape Recorder
1963

The unit is made up of a small 1/4” audiotape machine and 8mm camera that were to be used together to shoot a home movie with synchronized sound. When shooting the film a clapboard was to be used for each shot to indicate when the tape player is turned on. After finishing the recording, the film and tape were sent to the International Camera-Corder Corporation in a special mailer, where the sound was stripped onto the 8mm film.
