A high-definition version of DVCPRO recording the same signals as D-9 HD but on a quarter-inch cassette. DVCPRO HD machines can play all previous forms of DVCPRO tapes as well as DVCAM and DV tapes. The "LP" version uses half-speed recording to increase capacity.
