The Machtronics MVC-10 was one of the first commercial 1-inch helical scan videotape recorder in the US, running at 7.5 ips. The machine contained a monitor and recorded for up to 90 minutes on a 10.5-inch reel. It weighed only 90 lbs. and occupied only 2.3 cubic feet.
